Sam, Sabine and the Pamunkey Museum

Sammy and I went to visit my brother Kevin and his family in Norfolk on Wednesday. We had a great time and Sabine was so kind and generous to Sammy. She graciously allowed him to play with her toys...he especially LOVED her little car. We were supposed to get up early and head back to the rez...but plans changed when the HRBT westbound was shutdown due to a malfunctioning water pump. We waited for things to calm down a bit and tried to take the Monitor merrimack bridge tunnel.....uh...it was horrible! We were in traffic for 2 1/2 hours and maybe went 10 blocks...I finally had to turn around and hang out at Kevin's a little longer. It was not a happy day! We finally made it back to the rez by 6:30 pm. Today I took Sammy to the Pamunkey Museum...to visit my Mom....he had fun running around...touching things he shouldn't touch. I can't wait til he is old enough to learn about his heritage.
