The last few months

Finn will be 6 months next week.  Already he has been to Virginia 3 times via an airplane, has had 3 episodes of bronchiolitis complete with as many ear infections.  He has fallen off the bed once...something I watched in slow motion as I tried to prevent it while slipping on the rug...thankfully no one was hurt.  He has moved to a new home in a new town and now has to share a room with his big brother.
He lost a grandfather he only met once.

He is as sweet as a baby can be and of course we absolutely adore him...so does his big brother.  Sammy loves making Finn laugh...and boy can he make him laugh!  We are all adjusting to being a family of 4.  It has been quite a challenge, but we are getting there.

Below are a few images from the past few months.

My friend, Suzanne took these while I was still on maternity leave...he was just over a month old.

I took these while in VA visiting my Dad for the last time.

Finn, Otis and Tecumseh meeting for the first time

Can this child be ant cuter?
In March we lay my Daddy to rest by spreading his ashes in the Pamunkey river and planting a tree in his honor.  Afterwards we spent time outside with family and friends....thankfully the rain held off for the ceremony.

 Tecumseh being cute.

Sammy has been into Yellow Submarine lately, this is his version of Pepperland.

At Squarefest in Gallatin...a hot day in April.

I went with Sammy on his first field trip with his class.  There is this crazy woman, who obviously doesn't like children who has a farm in Bethpage with a bunch of exotic animals.  Really, this lady is batty.  Anyway, she has this monkey that she lets run around on the tables and hug the kids.  Sammy wasn't going to let that happen!

But he was into the corn snake.

As always, I'll try to do better posting on this blog.  Life is just a little too hectic.
